Morphisec’s Women in Cybersecurity Scholarships

Women are severely underrepresented in the field of cybersecurity to the detriment, we believe, of the industry as a whole. To encourage young women to explore a career in this field, we are providing three scholarships for female students enrolled or enrolling in cybersecurity-related studies.

Deadline November 29, 2019.

LITA/LSSI Minority Scholarship in Library and Information Technology

The scholarship is designed to encourage the entry of qualified persons into the library and automation field who plan to follow a career in that field; who demonstrate potential in, and a strong commitment to the use of automated systems in libraries; and who are qualified members of a principal minority group (American Indian or Alaskan native, Asian or Pacific Islander, African-American, or Hispanic).

Deadline March 1, 2019.

The Business Diversity Initiatives Office supports an institutional framework that acknowledges the importance of a diverse community and an inclusive environment. The Business Diversity Office also promotes initiatives and programs that increases awareness, understanding and sensitivity to the needs of all individuals regardless of age, class, physical ability, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Our mission is to support and promote an inclusive environment that embraces and celebrates the diversity of all people. The office serves to provide students, faculty, and staff with a cooperative, safe and supportive environment and assists in preparing them with an education that will help them maximize their opportunity to compete in a global economy.
