Professional Organizations and Annual Conferences
Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of professional annual conferences to develop not only their professional skills but to gain networks and contacts within their future profession. Please also note that many of these organizations offer scholarships or discounts to students interested in attending the annual conference. Here are a few professional organizations to consider.
The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) is the leading national professional association. ALPFA is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos in accounting, finance and related professions.
Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. Ascend has grown to serve professionals and corporations across various professions and across multiple industries.
